Peer Counselor

I got my peer counselor test back and I had to get at least an 80 to pass.  I got a 96!  So here I go searching for peer counselor work (doing what I am already doing with the groups I run) only getting paid!  That would help me out alot.

Right now I am running an aftercare group for those who have taken my other groups, called Positive Coping.  Those who are in this group say they love it. 

On October 12th I will start another group based on my "Creating Yourself" book. People say it is life-changing.

The peer counselor where I volunteer has just cut her hours by more than half and may quit soon.  She is keeping me apraised of the situation so I could possibly be able to take her job.

My King Co. conference presentation

My presentation went over well!  I did better than I did in any of my practices.  and I believe that is due to a blessing I recieved before my presentation.  My friend Ellen and I, co-presented but she left most of it to me.  We did powerpoint and worksheets.  We had a full class (about 40) with lots of interaction and all but one or two stayed through the end,  giving us high scores on the review sheets.

My visit to Utah

I know this is kinda late.  I got to see Becca and nephews and niece on my trip to Utah for a few days.  It was wonderful to spend time with them. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Mormon.org Profiles

The church has a new program, sharing testimonies on Mormon.org. I don't know how long mine will be pending, but I have my testimony up there. I intend to write more. They allow you to keep adding. I think it's great! I loved the testimonies from there that were shared in the Ensign this month.
